The Mississippi Department of Education announces an opportunity for district administrators, principals, lead teachers, and instructional coaches (K-8 and Algebra I) to attend an in-person professional development mathematics training titled Moving Math in Mississippi: Phase I focusing on the Core Actions of Math, HQIM implementation, manipulatives and student engagement.
Six sessions will happen in June in various locations across the state. Two sessions will occur June 11 in two different parts of the state to accommodate the anticipated capacity.
