Mathematics Specialist Conference set for Nov. 4; Speaker proposals due Aug. 31

Anyone who serves a school or district as a math or science specialist, lead teacher, content coach, or any other instructional leadership role, is invited to the 2022 Center for Mathematics and Science Education (CMSE) Mathematics Specialist Conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 4, at the University of Mississippi, Jackson Avenue Center 1111 Jackson Ave. W. University, MS 38677. Speaker proposals are due Aug. 31, and registration deadline is Oct. 17.

Since 2011, the CMSE has hosted the Mathematics Specialist Conference as an opportunity for K-12 mathematics teacher leaders to come together to share their knowledge and experiences.

This year’s conference theme is “collaborating for student success.” Collaboration is key to success in any area, specifically in education. How have you been able to collaborate with administrators, teachers, and students to create effective learning opportunities? Submit your speaker proposal by Aug. 31, and share your knowledge and experiences with others.
