The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Curriculum and Instruction Division of Mathematics Coaching is seeking highly qualified applicants for 2nd–6th Grade Mathematics Educator in Residence (EIR) positions.
The Division of Mathematics Coaching provides comprehensive coaching support and professional learning for mathematics teachers, curriculum specialists, administrators, and other educators. Its mission is to deepen understanding of the Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards (MS-CCRS) for Mathematics and the Mathematics Instructional Observation Protocol (MIOP), and to support educators in effectively applying this knowledge through mathematically sound, standards-aligned instruction in classrooms across the state.
The deadline for receipt of applications is on or before Monday, Nov. 24, by 2 p.m., Central Standard Time (CST).
