The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) will host two in-person training sessions — Oct.27 and Nov. 10 — for any district or school planning to apply or reapply for District or School of Innovation (DOI/SOI) status for the 2026–27 school year.
These sessions provide an opportunity for districts and schools to meet directly with MDE and support staff to walk through each section of the DOI/SOI application and receive guidance on the process. Lunch will be provided.
