Global Space Challenge open to middle, high school students Oct. 3-10

Led by Dr. Greg Chamitoff, a former NASA Astronaut, Global Space Challenge 2025 gives middle and high-school students an incredible opportunity to design and experience their own space mission using the most advanced virtual space simulation platform available. The Challenge will take place Oct. 3-10. Middle school and high school teams of 2-4 students are invited to participate.

Join us as the next generation of space enthusiasts compete with other students around the globe to virtually design and execute an exciting planetary mission.

▸ Six exciting days of live webcasts, learning modules, and space engineering simulations

▸ Daily mission training from astronauts, scientists, and select industry experts

▸ Tested and proven program, experienced by thousands of students around the world

▸ Built on a space mission design platform used for NASA programs

The Global Space Challenge is exciting, engaging, and easy to join.

Teams compete for the best mission design and win prizes.

NASA Space Grant is offering support to cover the fees for a limited number of schools and educational organizations (up to a $295 value per team; one sponsorship per school). Additional teams at schools with a sponsored team can be registered at 20% off.

Note: The program, live webcasts, will be evenings from Oct. 3-9, so it does not interfere with the school day in the United States. Online lessons can be viewed any time of day. Daily Expert speakers will be recorded. Teams will be participating from many other countries as well.
