The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Special Education is offering a course called PGS: Special Education Deep Dive designed for district and school leadership that focuses on understanding the multifaceted responsibilities of a special education teacher and defining meaningful ways to utilize the data from the Special Education Teacher Growth Rubric to support and develop effective special education teachers.
