For teachers, Mississippi Hearing-Vision Project (MHVP) offers free online Open Hands Open Access (OHOA) Modules. Apply by Aug. 24.
OHOA Modules provide evidence-based instructional strategies, information, and resources for students with severe complexities, including vision and hearing impairments. Cohorts are open to families, educators, paraprofessionals, early childhood interventionists, administrators, and related service providers serving any age.
Each set of modules includes three modules, and each module takes about seven hours to complete. The Cohort participants work through their set of three modules between Jan. 6 – Feb. 21 at their own pace and time. Educator continuing education credits are only available for the completed set of modules through RESA and yield .7 CEUS or seven contact hours per module totaling at least 2.1 CEU for $15.

Deadline for signing up for these modules is Aug. 24, 2022.
