EPA Gulf of Mexico Trash Free Waters Art and Slogan Competition for High School Students

The Environmental Protection Agency announces its Gulf of Mexico Trash Free Waters Art and Slogan competition for high school students.

Funding will support a statewide high school art and slogan competition focused on a reduction of plastic/trash, utilizing the winning artwork/slogan as well as community cleanups to educate the public on benefits of reducing trash. Approximately $3 million will be available for 5 projects; one in each Gulf state.

Project activities must take place in ONE of the five Gulf states AND be within the Gulf of Mexico watershed.
