Engaging the Whole Brain math workshop for educators set for Feb. 27

In this one-day workshop offered by the Center for Mathematics and Science Education at the University of Mississippi, teachers will learn how trauma-informed instructional practices can support student engagement and achievement in the classroom. This session provides educators with practical, brain-based strategies to help reduce student anxiety and support confidence and resilience while learning math. We will explore how brain breaks, math games, and more can help students access their whole brain during mathematics instruction.
