The Mississippi Department of Education and Center for Cyber Education at Mississippi State University will host their second annual Elementary Computer Science Summer Institute in June 2023 at various locations across the state. The Summer Institute is designed for elementary teachers or teacher assistants who will be teaching computer science in the 2023-24 school year and have not received computer science training.
Space will be limited per district and location; therefore, participants must have district approval to attend. Elementary principals and district staff are invited to join a webinar on March 6 at 3:30 p.m. or March 7 at 10 a.m. to learn more about these sessions and how to register teachers for the Summer Institute.
