The National Education Equity Lab is a nonprofit sponsored by the Gates Foundation and working with the Common App, Carnegie Corporation of New York, a Consortium of colleges and universities, and others to advance economic and social mobility opportunities for students from historically underserved communities at scale.
The National Education Equity Lab delivers college credit-bearing courses from top colleges and universities into teacher-led classrooms in Title I and Title I-eligible high schools across the nation, at no cost to students. Since 2019, nearly 3,000 students in 35 cities have been reached, with thousands earning free widely transferable college credits — providing the opportunity to advance and demonstrate college readiness, and make college more affordable, accessible, and successful.
