Early Childhood Specialized Bootcamp Training

The MDE, through the Office of Early Childhood, is offering our annual two-week full-day Early Childhood Specialized Bootcamp Training (ECSBT) Monday, June 17 – Friday, June 28, 2019 in six (6) locations across the state.

This training is offered to teachers that need to acquire twelve hours of approved early childhood coursework to teach in Pre-Kindergarten classrooms.  The completion of this training program, which includes boot camp participation and two (2) on-line courses, will be the equivalent of twelve hours of course work needed for teachers and assistants of Pre-Kindergarten classrooms (general education/special education) lacking an emphasis in early childhood.  The ECSBT will also meet the requirements of professional development for administrators of pre-kindergarten classrooms.  All participants must select one site for the entire training.  Last day to register is Monday, June 3, 2019.

Registration is being provided through the Mississippi Regional Education Service Agencies (RESA).   To receive an access code to register for this workshop, you must submit the pre-registration forms by clicking on the link below for RESA.  Once your pre-registration form has been reviewed by staff, an access code will be emailed to the email address you provide.
