Greetings Superintendents and CTE Directors:
The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) has discovered that an overpayment was made during the October Transfers for the CTE Teacher Reimbursement Program. We have conducted a review of the program and made the necessary corrections.
Districts that were overpaid during October will notice a significantly reduced payment for November. The reduction will continue monthly until the the amounts overpaid are recouped and reconciled. We anticipate that the last adjustment will take place in January 2020 for some districts.
