The Center for Mathematics and Science Education (CMSE) at The University of Mississippi is hosting online courses that will provide science teachers the opportunity to earn CEUs while participating in timely, relevant learning from scientific teaching leaders from across the country.
This course will introduce teachers to the core element of crosscutting concepts; address common misconceptions and/or misinterpretations of the crosscutting concepts; apply crosscutting concepts to real-world phenomena; and promote thoughtful engagement between teachers about integrating the crosscutting concepts into classroom instruction.
