The MDE has developed a three-part series on Assessment Literacy to provide additional understanding around assessments at the local and state levels. This series is presented as a free, self-paced, PD on Demand option. This series explores the following topics:
- purpose and use of assessments,
- creation of balanced assessments, and
- selection of high-quality, commercial assessments.
