The Mississippi State Board of Education (SBE) is seeking applications from high school sophomores interested in being the next junior student representative to the State Board of Education for the 2022-2023 school year. Deadline to apply is Jan. 28, 2022.
The Student Representatives of the Mississippi State Board of Education program is now entering its fourth year. Following an extensive application process annually during the last three years, two students – a high school junior and high school senior – serve on the SBE. These students have provided an important perspective, and their participation in the program has added tremendous value to SBE discussions and deliberations.
