On Jan. 20, the State Board of Education (SBE) granted approval of a temporary rule and to begin the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) process to revise the Miss. Admin. Code 7-3: 9.3, State Board Policy Chapter 9, Rule 9.3.
Based on the most recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the Mississippi Department of Education is recommending revisions to State Board Policy Chapter 9, Rule 9:3 to allow districts to utilize the hybrid scheduling option effective immediately upon approval by the State Board of Education from Jan. 20, through March 11.
