In 2026, the United States will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Today’s young people will play a pivotal role in shaping the next 250 years, so it’s important for them to reflect on what America means to them.
America’s Field Trip is a nationwide contest open to U.S. students in grades 3 – 12. Students can participate by submitting an original written piece or artwork in response to the question: “What does America mean to you?”
This contest provides students with a unique opportunity to share their perspectives as part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
Submission Deadline: 5 p.m. E.T Wednesday, April 16
