Accountability Reminder Regarding Grades for Dual Credit Courses

Superintendents, Principals, and Accountability Directors,

As the end of the first semester nears, please be reminded that grades for dual credit courses that are entered in MSIS must be unweighted and therefore be consistent with the grade assigned by the post-secondary institution.  For your reference, Business Rule 9.2.2 was approved at the July 2020 State Board of Education meeting:

Business Rule 9.2.2:

Beginning in school year 2020 – 2021, schools must enter non-weighted course grades for dual credit courses in MSIS. These non-weighted grades will be used in the performance measure for dual credit courses.
