Thank you for your interest in the 2025 EquipMS Grant Program. To meet the growing demand for high wage, high demand jobs this award cycle will be focused on supporting programs that
prepare students for Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance, and Electrical careers.
These sectors are vital for Mississippi’s economic growth, offering high-demand career opportunities that provide competitive wages and contribute to a skilled workforce.
We aim to empower public secondary school districts in Mississippi to develop or enhance programs that align with these priority occupations, as identified by AccelerateMS.
Eligible entities are Public Mississippi Secondary School Districts who have, are starting, or are converting (SY 25-26), a program that aligns with a priority occupation as identified by AccelerateMS.
Programs awarded during Spring 2024 award cycle are not eligible to apply for this award cycle.
Deadline for application submission is no later than 5 p.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024.
No late submissions will be considered.
Notifications of award will be made on Jan. 15, 2025.
