Reminder: To be eligible for reimbursement under SB 3044, the Equity in Distance Learning Act (EDLA), school districts must submit their Digital Learning Plan and EDLA application to the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) by September 1, 2020. This deadline is set by law.
Districts that purchase devices not on the Express Products List (EPL) are still required to submit a Digital Learning Plan and EDLA application to MDE by September 1, 2020 to be eligible for reimbursement under the law.
Please be sure your district completes responses to the EDLA Excel files BEFORE uploading these files to SharePoint. Once the files are uploaded, MDE staff need to be able to review and respond to the file submissions without further edits by district staff.
