The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Professional Development is excited to announce a new form of professional learning called PD on Demand. Educators can now receive professional development in bite-sized chunks anytime, anywhere. Laid out in a simple, organized, and downloadable PDF, participants can watch presentations, complete meaningful activities, and download resources at a time that is most convenient for them. PD on Demand can serve as a great resource to guide PLCs, help instructional leaders provide coaching support, or for an educator’s own personal growth. Participants can go through each mini-lesson or simply choose the particular lessons that are most relevant to them. Currently Making the Move to Digital Learning and IEP on Demand are available for download. Specific content sessions will be added in the coming months.
