The Pascagoula-Gautier School District kicked off the 2017-18 school year with a Back-to-School Convocation for all employees. The annual event is planned to build excitement for the upcoming school year with a high-energy pep rally atmosphere. Employees enjoyed participating in a number of musical numbers with the help of Pascagoula High band members and Pascagoula High and Gautier High cheerleaders and watched a video of student and teacher accomplishments.
The Pascagoula-Gautier School District has released its new theme for the 2017-2018 school year “Do the Impossible!” with a video highlighting the achievements of the district’s students in the areas of academics, the arts, athletics, technology and workforce development. The theme is carried on throughout the school year with “Do the Impossible!” yard signs, marquees and bulletin boards displaying stories of people across the world who have inspired others by doing the impossible.
