The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Elementary Education and Reading, Division of Mathematics Coaching, invites math educators to the Moving Mathematics in Mississippi (M3)’s Inaugural: Every Student Counts Conference (Every Student Counts) – a conference specifically designed by math educators for math educators to support all things math – set for June12-13, at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College: Hospitality Resort Management Center in Biloxi, Mississippi.
This conference will focus on promoting and supporting effective mathematics instruction for students in grades K through Algebra.
To continue the push for proficiency in mathematics and support instructional needs of all students, teachers, and administrators, sessions will focus on building numeracy, empowering educators through coaching, building conceptual understanding, integrating technology, and collaborative leadership.
