Teachers are invited to apply for the 1775: Shots Heard Around the World Teacher Institute planned for summer 2025.
In a kickoff to America’s 250th birthday — the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence — learn and have fun exploring 1775: Shots Heard Around the World.
Topics will include the Battle of Lexington and Concord, the Green Mountain Boys, the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Second Continental Congress and more.
Included in acceptance to the Institute:
A single room at a nearby hotel Transportation from the hotel to American Village Food throughout the institute Amazing content with dynamic presenters and scholars Application sessions Up to 50 hours of professional learning.

Applications open October 11, 2024; close March 1, 2025 Capacity will be limited to 35, with a wait list Acceptances will be sent March 3, 2025 After you have been accepted to the institute, you will be sent a registration link.
