The Mississippi Regional for the National Science Bowl will be hosted by the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science (MSMS) in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025. The National Science Bowl is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy. Preregistration opens on Monday, Oct. 7, 2024.
School sponsored teams of four to five students are invited to participate in the Mississippi regional, and all Mississippi middle schools are invited to participate. The winning team will win a trip to Washington D.C. to participate in the National Science Bowl April 24-28, 2025.
