The 21st Annual ADHD & Related Concerns Conference set for Oct. 21-22 in Hattiesburg

Hattiesburg Clinic Connections and Hattiesburg Clinic Psychology & Counseling, along with Gulf Coast Education Initiative Consortium will once again hold the 21st Annual ADHD & Related Concerns Conference on Monday, Oct. 21 and Tuesday, Oct. 22.

This conference is for parents, caregivers, educators, counselors, health care professionals and those interested in learning more about how to improve the lives of individuals with ADHD or other learning differences. GCEIC will provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for school administrators, counselors, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, dyslexia therapists, psychologists, social workers, marriage & family therapists, speech language pathologists, general educators, and special educators. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend to learn more about how to help their children with ADHD manage their conditions.

​The mission of the conference is to educate and inspire the community to better identify, treat, and care for those with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and coexisting disorders. The conference will include sessions on a variety of other topics as well, including dyslexia, behavior management, autism, and addiction.
