ESSER digital subscriptions ending Sept. 30

Services to districts that participated in the ESSER digital subscription program – Homer (K-2 ELA), Newsela (3-12 ELA), Imagine Learning (K-8 math), News-O-Matic (K-8 social studies), Discovery Education (K-6 science), and Gale (7-12 science) – will end on Monday, Sept. 30. However, all districts can use the free K-12 digital databases offered by the Mississippi Library Commission through the MAGNOLIA platform to fill in their supplemental resources gap.

The MAGNOLIA platform includes K-12 databases which allows students to quickly find reliable information to complete assignments and build background knowledge. Resources include articles, e-books, and videos that connect to English Language Arts, social studies, science, mathematics, and more. For more information, please visit the MAGNOLIA website: https://magnolia.lib.ms.us/.

If a district or school would like to request free professional development on the MAGNOLIA platform, please contact Jennifer Lena, MLC Deputy Executive Director, at jlena@mlc.lib.ms.us.
