PD offered for K-5 teachers on the Science of Reading for Students with Disabilities

The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Special Education is excited to announce an opportunity for teachers, (K-5) to attend a half day morning or afternoon, in-personprofessional development training titled The Science of Reading for Students with Disabilities This professional development will explore the Simple View of Reading and Scarborough’s Reading Rope along with how to apply the Science of Reading through Structured Literacy in the classroom.

Morning Session: (8:30-11:30 a.m.)
