The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE), through the Office of Compulsory School Attendance Enforcement and Dropout Prevention, is extending the due date/deadline for school districts to submit their approved annual Dropout Prevention Plan to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31.
