The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Professional School Counseling and Student Supports will provide training to the districts’ Mental Health and Suicide Prevention coordinators on the updates and requirements at 11 a.m. Aug. 8 and Aug. 9.
Districts with questions and concerns about the requirements for HB 1283, contact Dr. Fort at cfort@mdek12.org by Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 4 p.m. in order that it can be addressed during the session.
