The National Assessment Governing Board will officially open the call for nominations for experts to serve on the NAEP Science Framework Steering and Development Panels. Nominations for the 2028 NAEP Science Framework panels will be accepted June 13 through July 6, 2022.
After the National Assessment Governing Board’s (NAGB) unanimous approval of a charge initiating an update to the 2028 NAEP Science Framework last month, staff have been preparing for the first major milestone in the framework update — launching the nominations process for prospective members of the Steering and Development panels. This new process is called for in the updated policy on assessment framework development.
