
The Southern Regional Educational Service Agency (SRESA) is excited to announce the Learning Forward Mississippi Pre-Conference set for 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum and Convention Center. The Making Connections Conference will follow on June 8, 9, and 10.
The Learning Forward Mississippi Pre-Conference is geared toward school and district administrators and school leaders and will feature a deep dive into the newly released Standards for Professional Learning, along with a focus into leadership research from the groundbreaking research commissioned by the Wallace Foundation.
Presenters for the conference are Frederick Brown, Chief Learning Officer/Deputy for Learning Forward, and Dr. Tresa Dunbar, former principal and current Illinois superintendent. The cost of the one-day Learning Forward Mississippi Pre-Conference is $60, and participation will be limited to 120 educators. SEMI Credits (5), CEUs (0.6) and lunch will be provided.
