Balancing the Equation: Leveling the Playing Field for Mississippi Math Instructors is a virtual PLC “math talk” series for math teachers, interventionists, coaches, and administrators across the state of Mississippi. Last month in session two, the five representations of mathematics with the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach to mathematics instruction was discussed. In session three, the discussion will continue highlighting the five representations of mathematics and participants will take a closer look at the verbal and contextual representations.
