The “Tuning In” monthly Special Education Teacher Chat set for March 9, will be on the topic Supporting Listening Needs of Students Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
The monthly chat provides teachers with an opportunity to connect and learn more about various topics regarding students who are hearing impaired.
During the March 9 chat, Haley Messersmith, AuD, Clinical Instructor/Audiologist in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University of Mississippi, will present on FM systems, hearing technology, audiograms and teacher-audiologist collaboration. Teachers will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts and ideas.
