The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Professional Development and Office of Special Education are offering a professional development opportunity throughout March for special education teachers at six different locations throughout the state.
The locations are Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Meridian, Jackson, Greenville and Oxford. These bootcamps will be offered in a conference-like setting and will focus on topics beneficial to special education teachers.
Session topics will include the IEP writing process, inclusive practices, specially designed instruction and strategies to use with struggling students. There is no cost to attend this professional development opportunity, and CEUs will be available.
