The Mississippi Department of Education, through the Office of Special Education, is pleased to offer the “Tuning In” teacher chat for the month of October. This Special Education (HI) chat session is scheduled for October 13, 2021 at 3:30p to 4:30p, and will focus on teaching strategies for hearing impaired students. Participants are encouraged to be prepared to share a successful strategy that has been used with hearing impaired students. Collaborating and sharing resources are essential to building a strong and sustainable statewide Special Education professional community.
The session will be facilitated by Ashten Yost, Special Education Professional Development Coordinator (Hearing Impaired). Featured guests will be teachers across the state, new and novice, that will share their best and brightest ideas. We hope you will be “TUNING IN” for this session!
