The Center for Mathematics and Science Education (CMSE) at The University of Mississippi is happy to announce a summer full of professional development opportunities. We are offering a variety of live, virtual, and hybrid sessions for K-12 mathematics and science teachers. These sessions would be an excellent way to keep your school-level PLCs collaborating during the summer months and prepared to bring fresh ideas to the classroom for the fall. All professional development book studies, courses, sessions, and workshops offered by the CMSE contain the highest level of quality content, expert facilitators, and come with CEUs (SEMIs and OSLs where applicable). We are constantly adding new content so be sure to check our website frequently. The mission of the CMSE is to improve mathematics and science education in Mississippi by fostering interaction between academic and K-12 education communities, supporting the implementation of research-based methods in the classroom and promoting interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
