There are approximately three (3) weeks left to apply for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) 2020-2021 award cycle. The PAEMST is the highest honor bestowed upon a K-12 teacher in the United States. Up to two (2) national level winners are selected from each state, each year; and, are provided a $10,000 award for their personal use.
Grades 7-12 science, engineering, mathematics, and technology teachers are encouraged to apply and complete the process – if they have not already done so. To begin the application process, click the link here. All required materials must be submitted in the national PAEMST portal by April 1, 2021 for consideration. The Grades K-6 cycle will open in Fall 2021.
