We understand what a challenging season this school year has been, and we recognize your resilience, strength, and dedication to your students in the midst of one of the most difficult seasons of American education. As you near the end of the fall semester, the Hattiesburg Convention Center invites you to encourage your students to visit the Dinosaurs Around the World exhibition at Lake Terrace Convention Center and use the attached Dinosaurs Around the World Educator Guide to lighten your teaching load and make end-of-year activities more exciting for you and your students.
Dinosaurs Around the World, produced by Imagine Exhibitions, is now on display at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg and is open Thursdays-Sundays from 10AM-5PM, with special hours between Christmas and New Year’s.This immersive exhibition takes visitors on a tour of earth before the continents as we know them existed, when lush landscapes covered Africa and greenery was the norm in Antarctica! Featuring advanced animatronics, a multi-layered narrative, fossils, authentic casts, cutting-edge research and immersive design, Dinosaurs Around the World is the Age of Reptiles come to life!
2020 has been a long, hard year for educators, students, and the communities in which they live. We hope that Dinosaurs Around the World–and the informative Educator Guide (read here) –will help provide joy and educational engagement as the fall semester draws to a close.
