William Carey University and the Gulfport School District are hosting the Second Annual Teacher Shortage Conference Feb. 8, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
At the free day-long event, attendees will hear from current educators as well as future educators about the obstacles to pursing their dream of becoming a teacher.
A document will be produced from the different breakout sessions to be used by all districts in the state as a pattern of solving the teacher shortage.
