22nd Annual ADHD and Related Concerns Conference set for Oct. 23-24

Hattiesburg Clinic Connections and Hattiesburg Clinic Psychology & Counseling, along with GCEIC (Gulf Coast RESA) will again host the 22nd Annual ADHD & Related Concerns Conference on Thursday, Oct. 23 and Friday, Oct. 24, at Lake Terrace Convention Center, located at 1 Convention Center Plaza in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

​This conference is for educators, counselors, parents, caregivers, health care professionals and those interested in learning more about how to improve the lives of individuals with ADHD or other learning differences.

​The mission of the conference is to educate and inspire the community to better identify, treat, educate, and care for those with ADHD and coexisting disorders. The conference will include sessions on a variety of other topics as well, including dyslexia, behavior management, autism, and social-emotional development and learning.

​During the event, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be provided for school administrators, counselors, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, dyslexia therapists, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, speech language pathologists, general educators, and special educators. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend and learn more about how to help their children with ADHD manage their conditions.
