The calendar provides administrators, district personnel, federal program directors, special education directors, and districts with guidance and important dates that may be required under Mississippi state law and/or federal requirements in a single, convenient location. This document is not meant to be an all-inclusive calendar but includes dates that are required and are deemed to be the most essential for compliance. Local districts are still encouraged to develop their own calendars; this document could serve as a guide or template.
