The 2022 Mississippi Education Law Conference is set for June 8-9 at the University of Mississippi School of Law.
This conference will provide an opportunity for educational leaders across P-20 and attorneys representing schools and postsecondary institutions to enhance their understanding of cutting-edge education law and policy issues. Attendees can expect to hear from a diverse group of presenters, with experience as leaders in schools and postsecondary institutions and as practicing attorneys.
For those new to education law issues, on June 8, there will be two half-day pre-conference workshops — one focused on K-12 and the other on postsecondary education.
The main conference day is set for June 9, and will include two engaging plenary sessions — one focused on education finance in schools and colleges and another session on LGBTQIA+ issues.
Breakout sessions during the day will cover topics tailored to elementary and secondary schools and to postsecondary institutions, including community colleges. Professional development credit will be available for school administrators and CLE credits for practicing attorneys.
