Calling all Social Studies and English Language Arts Teachers – Teaching with Primary Sources from the Library of Congress PD and Funding
There are two opportunities to learn more about teaching with primary sources from the Library of Congress. Mississippi State University has received a grant from the Library of Congress to provide curriculum and professional development to support grades 3-12 social studies and English language arts teachers. Funding/teacher scholarships are available to support attendance at the Mississippi Council for Social Studies (October 27, Starkville) and/or the Mississippi Association for Middle Level Education (October 29-31, Bay St. Louis).
