Theodore Roosevelt and his visits to the Mississippi Delta

What if you could meet President Theodore Roosevelt and learn about the famous hunt he and Holt Collier undertook that gave rise to the “Teddy Bear”?

This program, led by living history interpreter Case Hicks, will follow our 26th president from the Washington White House to the Mississippi Delta.  You will hear engaging stories of his life, including tales about several of his trips to the Delta, and learn about  the results of the hunt for conservation-minded citizens.

The program is 40 minutes long, with time after for questions/answers with Mr. Hicks.   $6.00 for adults  $4.00 for children ages 3 and up. Museum members are FREE. Group rates available for educational groups.  For more information, or to make a reservation call:  601-576-6000 or visit https://www.mdwfp.com/museum/
