MCEE Student Challenges

The Mississippi Economics Challenge ONLINE!

The Mississippi Council on Economic Education (MCEE) hosts the Mississippi NationalEconomicsChallenge each year for high school students. The Challenge applies the excitement of an athletic competition to academic excellence and encourages students to apply their economics knowledge and work in teams. Mississippi teachers have the opportunity to hold a preliminary first round of the Challenge ONLINE. The online test dates are October 8-19, 2018, December 3-14, 2018, and March 24, 2018. The top scoring high school teams by regions, are invited to advance to the Mississippi Economics Challenge State Championship on April 16, 2019 at Northwest Rankin High School.   The State economics challenge will include an “escape room” style activity.  To learn more and register teams to compete, visit http://mscee.org/programs/#Q2
