Amplify Data Coaching: Request for Applications (RFA)

Greetings Superintendents, Curriculum Coordinators, Federal Programs Directors, Special Education Directors, and Principals:

The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE), through the Office of Elementary Education and Reading, is seeking competitive written applications from districts interested in receiving data coaching support from Amplify. Eligible applicants include districts with willing “D” or “F” level schools based on the 2016-2017 accountability results. Any district with a “D” or “F” school may apply, but the applications must be limited specifically to these schools.

The program will include Amplify coaching support for general education and special education teachers in the areas of literacy, English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as support for principals, lead teachers, and superintendents in the area of data-driven leadership. Teachers in other subject areas and other instructional leaders may also participate in collaborative planning sessions facilitated by data coaches.

Intent to apply forms and written questions are due by Friday, June 15, and can be emailed to noakley@mdek12.org.

Completed, signed applications must be received by Friday, June 29, at 5:00 p.m., as outlined in the RFA. Please see the attached RFA for additional information and to apply.
